The Challenge
Macrovision’s industry-standard content solutions were powered by the partnerships it cemented. Macrovision saw itself as being central to the home digital entertainment ecosystem and was always looking to discover new partnerships to power its mission.
Macrovision wanted to build a database of US and European companies from verticals like Portals/Search Engines, Retail Music, Entertainment Radio, Entertainment TV, Entertainment News, Special TV Target, Retail Movies, Entertainment Movies, Retail Tickets, Games, Community Media/Social Networking, Social Networking, Entertainment Multimedia, and News/Information. They were looking to target key decision makers at these target companies.
Macrovision also had a database with just contact names and job titles at potential partner companies. They wanted this list to be updated with comprehensive contact information so that they could reach the identified prospects.
Solution
Macrovision had clearly defined the verticals they wanted to target and also the specific designations of decision makers at the target companies. Extensior set about creating custom databases that provided Macrovision with a list of target companies, and contacts across different departments within these companies. Extensior also updated Macrovision’s existing database of companies with the latest contact information.
